History

Lifepoint Church, formerly Agape Life Fellowship, was birthed by the Holy Spirit in the hearts of three couples during the latter months of 1995. Over a four month span a group of dedicated couples spent time together in prayer and fellowship, believing that God was creating a ministry that would impact their lives and the lives of many others.

The first services were held at a dining room table and the first “official” service took place in a living room on January 6, 1996. From there the church moved to a rented home, then to an abandoned plumbing warehouse. The church continued to grow and also spent time meeting in an elementary school cafeteria and a theatre. The present property was purchased in December of 1999.
